Dad loves greens. Most of the time, when he wants greens, we buy a huge bag of kale and cook it with a pork bone, or something like that. But then, there are other times when we buy a can. Not all of us eat greens, and the week before we left for Colorado, we bought a can of greens for Dad to have with a meal. We didn't have enough time for those of us who do eat the greens to finish off a big bag of kale or collards before we left, so we stuck with a can. I know...we could have frozen the leftovers, but we didn't.

Wouldn't you think buying a can of mixed greens for a side dish would be a good, healthy thing to do? Check out the pictures. Look...they're even seasoned for you! How nice!

The greens do all sorts of good things for your health! (uh huh)

I mean, these people really care about you!

But look at this; this is like death in a can, or something!

They're greens, for crying out loud! Maybe next time, we'll be more careful and just buy the big bag and freeze the leftovers. It seems like these days, you can't buy anything in a can, at matter how good you may think it would be!

  1. See, that's why you're supposed to read the label before buying. ;)

BTW, I like the new look! One suggestion though, would be to have your ebay store listed somewhere too, if you want people to find your auctions. :)

Oh, and thanks for including me in your links!

  2. I know, I know! We all slip up sometimes...right? ;)

Thanks for the ebay suggestion...I found a nifty litle gadget thing for it! I'm having too much fun with this!

No problem to include your link! :)
